A Zoom talkback with director Angie Higgins and members of the Truce team.

Want to live longer in the world of the historic 1914 Christmas truce? Join Truce: A Christmas Wish from the Great War director Angie Higgins and members of the cast for a behind-the-scenes chat. Since Truce originally had its world premiere on the City Lights stage in 2014, Angie had the fascinating task of putting her own artistic stamp on the 10th-anniversary production.

Bring your questions or just watch and enjoy as we talk about the rehearsal process, that awesome photo shoot at the Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve, and how our actors transformed themselves into World War I soldiers. Hosted by City Lights’ Rebecca Wallace, our Zoom talkbacks are free, informal and lots of fun. To sign up, just “buy” a free ticket. We’ll send you the Zoom link. You can also watch past broadcasts on our website.

Truce: A Christmas Wish from the Great War is supported by Executive Producer Toggle Hagan and Producers Marv & Bonnie Bamburg. Show photos are by company photographer Christian Pizzirani.
