DONATE TO CITY LIGHTS’ END OF YEAR 2022 CAMPAIGN
In honor of City Lights’ 40th anniversary, we’ve created a specific donation campaign asking for investments into our future.
You know City Lights is a major cultural asset in our community. Perhaps you value our artistic quality, the exuberance of our shows, or our risk-taking scripts? Whatever the reason, we’re glad you’re here. In an expensive area that’s tough for nonprofits, we’re proud that City Lights, a registered 501(c)(3), closed 16 straight years in the black before Covid-19.
During the shutdown, we stayed busy with a new online series, podcast channel, and other creative endeavors — and kept all regular staff employed and deployed, with no mandatory furloughs. We were thrilled to reopen for our 2021-22 season, and continue to present high-quality theater, even as rebuilding remains a challenge for us and our industry as a whole.
Please donate and help us keep creating innovative theater for you in this time of rebuilding. In addition to accepting cash and in-kind donations, City Lights offers many ways to make your gift, and benefits for giving. Please contact us at citylights@cltc.org or 408-295-4200 with questions or other ideas. Thank you!
