Our summer musical: Head Over Heels, a love-affirming tale set to the sounds of The Go-Go’s! The show’s music — by the iconic ’80s all-female rock band — includes hit songs “Vacation” and “Our Lips Are Sealed.” Led by the free-spirited Princess Pamela, the royal family journeys to save their beloved kingdom of Arcadia from extinction. Throughout a wild adventure filled with mistaken identities, forbidden romances and unexpected twists, the family learns that the key to their realm’s survival lies within their own hearts. Adorned with vibrant vibes and eccentric energy, Head Over Heels is a rollercoaster ride of fun that reminds us to embrace love in all its forms. You know what they say…we got the beat! Jeffrey Bracco (Green Day’s American Idiot, Stage Kiss) directs. Performances are July 17-Aug. 24, 2025.

Our 2025-26 season:
Welcome to City Lights’ 2025–26 season, where humor, heart, and mystery light up the stage. We launch the season with Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors — a madcap twist on a legendary tale. Then, get ready for warmth, nostalgia, and a bit of well-meaning meddling in Over the River and Through the Woods. A deeply personal journey takes center stage in Running After Shadows, a moving solo play about the ghosts that follow us. Suspense ramps up with Dial M for Murder, a razor-sharp thriller packed with twists and turns. The season then ventures into technological territory in anthropology, an innovative new play delving into AI, memory, and the fragile threads of human connection. We wrap things up on a wildly inventive (and darkly hilarious) note with the TikTok musical favorite Ride the Cyclone.
